Today, Windows 11 became generally available, and with this release we are excited to announce that Microsoft Power Automate is now built-in with Windows 11. 1) 'Launch Excel' and choose your file 2) 'Get window' > foreground window (gives %AutomationWindow% as output variable) 3) 'Focus window' > Find window mode = By window instance/handle, Window instance = %AutomationWindow% (Steps 2-3 are to assure PAD is with Excel window active and focused) Power Automate is available from the Start menu in Windows 11.Figure 1 - Getting all files in a folder and storing it in a variable. Power Automate provides a list of pre-built actions, as we can see in the left column of Figure 1. Put all Excel files from which you want to read data in a separate folder and let us name it - Excel Read. Step 1 - Retrieve all the files in a folder for reading data.
